This 1952 Atkinson of W. Haliday of Palnackie has a goodly load of pit props and proudly sports the Knight's Head badge on its radiator. Although not the fastest lorry on the road in its day, its reliability and longevity was unquestioned, but with the advent of motorways the heyday of this type of lorry were numbered.
