Scammell 100 tonner
The 100 ton (payload) Scammell was introduced in 1929 with just two examples being built, the first one for Pickfords. In 1937 Edward Box bought the second from the original owners Marston Road Services and it is seen here loading a War Department 2.10.0 locomotive to be shipped to France shortly after D-Day 1944.
