BRS Bristol
When Great Britain was the workshop of the World a lot of that work was produced in the area roughly between Birmingham and Wolverhampton known as the Black Country and that is where we see this Bristol eight-wheeler of British Road Services loaded with steel bar. The Bristol was especially developed and built for the Nationalised BRS and not available on the open market but usually powered by Leyland’s 9.8 litre diesel mated to a five-speed overdrive gearbox and carried quite a variety of different cabs during its production.
